The study delves into parenting dynamics within disabled ultra-Orthodox couples, focusing on disability critique and legal frameworks. It examines how state and Jewish laws, alongside societal norms, shape parenting expectations and support systems. Notably, the ultra-Orthodox discourse emphasizes duties and responsibilities over rights. The adoption of a postmodernist model, stressing disability universality and communal responsibility, offers a potentially more suitable approach within the community.
