Riva Muskal, CEO of the Shalem Foundation said: "Every two years we have the privilege to grant awards to those working throughout the year to promote the status of a person with intellectual disability and community integration. We are working on all fronts to improve the quality of life and the integration of people with intellectual disabilities, all in order to lower social barriers and enable them to express and realize their full potential in all areas of life, employment, art and more. We hope that all the prize winners will serve as an example to us all".
